Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Rangpur Range Director Md. Abdus Samad, BVM, PVMS visited the order and duties of the Ansar and VDP members engaged in maintaining law and order in the Puja Mandap of different upazilas of Kurigram district on Monday, October 23. During this time, he inquired about the members who were performing the duties. He thanked the members for performing their duties well and gave directions to perform their duties properly till the renunciation. When he reached the Kalibari Sarvajanin Central Pujamandap in Kurigram Sadar, he was welcomed with flowers by the President and General Secretary of the Pujamandap Committee and other members of the committee. On behalf of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, the Director Puja Committee president and general secretary along with other members of the committee exchanged autumn greetings with flowers and sweets. Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, District Commandant of Kurigram Md. Nahid Hasan Jani, Assistant District Commandant Md. Ibnul Haque and Assistant Director of Ansar and VDP Rangpur Range Asaduzzaman, Circle Adjutant Mahbub Uz Zaman, Upazila Ansar and VDP Officer of Kurigram Sadar Md. Mosharraf Hossain were present. .
This year, 105 PCs, 548 APCs, 1749 VDP male members and 1096 VDP female members in 9 upazilas of Kurigram district are engaged in maintaining law and order in 548 puja mandaps, totaling 3498 Ansar and VDP members.
After visiting Pujamandap, Director Rangpur Range Kurigram District Ansar and VDP visited the VDP basic training and basic computer training program including 4th stage weapons and exchanged views with the trainees.
